Imavex holds an annual 100 holes of golf outing, October 3rd.
Yes, I did say 100 holes and it is all done in one day. It is an amazing day with 30 wonderful people that range from almost professional to golfers that have never swung a club before.
Who are we helping?
This year we are helping local foster kids with bags of hope. When a child is taken from a home they leave everything behind. These bags will give the kids their own toiletries, gift cards for clothes, little ones will have stuffed animals. The older girls will receive makeup. Another program that we are assisting with is a conference that will promote finding more foster families in Central Indiana. There is a dangerously low number of foster families. We are also helping fund training for 30 adult advocates for children. This will help make sure that someone will be able to speak for children when going into custody hearings. We are also helping across the ocean bring forever families to orphans in China.
How can you help?
1. We are looking for some people that would enjoy a day off work to hang out in nature on the golf course. We will be playing at Arbor Trace Golf Course in Marion, Indiana (www.arbortracegc.com).
2. You can be a corporate sponsor for the event by donating $1000 or $500. You will receive “world class” advertising. Hey, then you don’t have to hit 100 holes. There is always an upside.
3. We are also looking for door prizes. We always love to have our golfers go home with some fun prizes for their golfing and fundraising.
Come join us. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive more information.
